How I started in the wood business..
As an aspiring young musician living around Nashville, Tn., I always gravitated to jobs that kept me involved in the music scene in one capacity or another. Around 1990 I was working for country artist Lacy J. Dalton. It was in the waning years of her career and the tour schedule had lots of holes so, I started as an apprenticeship guitar maker in Nashville, Tn. around 1991 part time to fill the voids. The company was Rose Guitars though it was basically a small, quaint little custom guitar shop.
